Hey! I'm Nick Laws, writer, director, actor and semiprofessional day dreamer.  My passion for creating has lead me on a journey through the arts which ultimately lead me here, to you on this website, typing this bio. Ever the over-thinker, my modus operandi as a filmmaker is to explore the subconscious mind of people, to find out what makes us humans tick, All stories no matter how grand or minuscule are human and I think they should all be told.

The DARK AGES

Before following my dreams and diving into the film industry at 23, I spent a few years working in the journalism industry as a reporter. It took months of depression and a global pandemic to make me realize I would never be happy in that job. I dropped what I was doing (it was nothing we were in the middle of a pandemic) and took the dive into filmmaking. Since then I have made multiple short films, music videos and mini docs.
